French Revolution
Maximilien Robespierre was a 17 year old boy in 1775 during the coronation of French King Louis XVI. Maximillien was given the honor of giving a speech honoring the king and queen. Louis and Queen Marie Antoinette arrived several hours late for the celebration and never got out of their carriage. Within 20 years Robespierre would become a leading figure pushing for the ultimate execution of the royals.
